On arrival after the recovery of a tilted truck on a countryside ride, our drivers Hubert van Driel and Ruud Erven how nice it could be if they had a tractor with a winch when they're working a field. This way they could change the direction of the tow during a recovery.
After a meeting we started searching on the internet to a UNIMOG. We found one in Austria with a winch.

The Mercedes Unimog with a 6 cilinder 130 horses engine and a frontwinch beloinging tot he firedepartment of Alzfeld from Austria and after 36 uears of service with almost zero milage.

Engineer Arnold did a fine job. He modernised the Unimog on several points. He gave the Unimog a much needed service and painted the rear in a nice bright color. Arnold mounted a new rear fence and pullhook, new lighting and on the front a new light bracket and flashing bumper sticks.
At the front of the car we placed several ankers to make sure the Unimog stays in place during the usage of the winches.
At the bottom of the car we placed serveral air tanks to make sure we could remove the truck wheels. We also installed a remote power supply and a complete lifting system to lift trucks by their axel.
The Unimog will be locally used to provide materials and if necessary transported to hard to reach places.
